Family and Individual Support Service
Our service caters for Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander families who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless and who are unable to access private or public housing and require a level of individualized support to redevelop self-reliance and independence.
Case management support is provided for families in a range of property types and locations, managed by Umpi Korumba. The majority of the properties are three or four-bedroom family houses, but there is some limited flexibility to provide properties that may better suit the housing needs of smaller households.
The accommodation is unfurnished. However, where possible, our support staff endeavor to assist families to secure basic household items through a variety of means.
